Dr. Claire-Louise Young is an experienced Family Medicine physician with a clinical background spanning both comprehensive primary care and hospital medicine. She earned her medical degree from the American University of Integrative Sciences School of Medicine and completed her Family Medicine residency at Hamilton Health Care System in Georgia, USA.
Following residency, Dr. Young expanded her experience in hospital medicine, including service as a hospitalist at Missouri Delta Medical Center. This combination of outpatient and hospital-based experience has given her broad exposure to acute illness, complex medical conditions, preventive care, and long-term chronic disease management.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Young has contributed to peer-reviewed medical research, including published research examining trends in pediatric suicide attempts in the United States.
Dr. Young brings her broad U.S. clinical experience to Trusty Care Medical Centre in Woodstock, with a focus on comprehensive, evidence-based and patient-centred family medicine.
